Pho Hoa in Houston hosted celebration reception for Texas’ recently elected State Representatives Mr. Hubert Vo

After almost three decades, Vietnamese Americans have made great strides in the land of opportunity. Accomplishments have been recognized in many areas including academic, business, science, sport, and entertainment. However, mainstream politics is a major area that has enjoyed increasing participation by Vietnamese Americans.

The number of Vietnamese Americans running for public offices reached an unprecedented height during the last election. As the result, the first two Vietnamese Americans were elected into the state legislatures in California and Texas. One of them is our own Hubert Vo representing District 149 of Texas. By being a co-sponsor of this event, Pho Hoa Restaurant wants to honor
